Foreign political parties and international organizations continue to voice their support for China rejecting the arbitration over the South China Sea issue, unilaterally initiated by the Philippines.

Cambodia's royalist Funcinpec Party issued a statement praising China for continuing to resolve disputes through dialogue. Pakistan's People's Party says the South China Sea issue should be resolved through bilateral negotiations. Chairman of the UK's 48 Group Club, Stephen Perry, said the arbitration initiated by the Philippines is flawed and doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

President of the International Crisis Group think tank, Jean-Marie Guéhenno, says the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea does not govern sovereign issues. Meanwhile, experts from the BRICS countries have also voiced their support for China's stance.

"The best option is not to create an imbalance in the situation and to solve it peacefully. The two countries' should negotiate bilaterally and come to an agreement," said Genovana Zoccal Gomes, Dev't & Int'l of Research Center of BRICS.

"They should resolve the problem through dialogue and discussion, and even compromise. We are urging that the South China Sea region remain a stable, peaceful zone. And there should be cooperation between all countries," said Ebrahim Ismail Ebrahim, member of South Africa National Council.
