For more on bilateral relations between China and Poland, we are joined now in the studio by Liu Youfa, former president of the China Institute of International Studies. 

Q1. China and Poland have agreed to form a comprehensive strategic partnership. What exactly does that mean and how will it affect the two nations? 

Q2. President Xi said in his speech earler that both countries will expand ties in fields including clean energy, innovation and investment. What can we expect to see happen here? 

Q3. Poland has maintained a reasonably steady rate of growth in recent years, especially given the turmoil across Europe following the financial crisis of 2008. What's the reason for this success? Will China benefit from this? 

Q4. Analysts see the fact that Poland is a member nation of the EU as a good opportunity for China to enter other EU countries. Do you think that's the case? What makes this bilateral relationship so special?

Q5. Poland says it's willing to participate in the Belt and Road Initiative but what benefits will that bring? What potential challenges lie ahead for the partnership?
