Q1. Compared to outgoing Philippine President Aquino, the newly-elected President Rodrigo Duterte appears to be more willing to solve the South China Sea dispute through negotiations with Beijing. What's been the US reaction to that?
Q2. The US has been building its military presence in the Asia-Pacific, sending advanced ships and aircraft. How does this impact security in the region? And would an increased US presence be welcomed by regional countries?
