TASHKENT, June 23 (Xinhua) -- Tajik President Emomali Rahmon said here Thursday that his country fully understands and firmly supports China's positions on the South China Sea issue, opposing any attempt to internationalize it.

Rahmon made the remarks during a meeting with visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping ahead of a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
