The delegation of the 48-nation Nuclear Suppliers Group gathered Thursday in Seoul to attend the annual plenary meeting.
An arms control expert said China has made contributions over the entry of non-contracting states of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons into the NSG.
Wang Qun, Director General of the Department of Arms Control of Chinese Foreign Ministry, said China has focused on two points. Firstly, that all parties should abide by the rules of the group, and the rules are not made against any certain country. And secondly, that China has made efforts to help reach consensus through creative ideas.
