Electric Light Orchestra perform Bowie tribute

UK's premier music festival, Glastonbury, closed out with a moving tribute to global icon David Bowie who died in January. Adele also wowed crowds while across the pond in the U.S. fans gathered at the second annual Epic fest where they were treated to sets from Future, DJ Khaled and Zoey Dollaz among others.

A 50-piece orchestra paid tribute to the late David Bowie on the final day of the 2016 Glastonbury festival.

The stage included a giant sculpture of the Ziggy Stardust lightening bolt, a signature of his famous alter ego.

Aged  69, the London born musician died in January after battling liver cancer. Glastonbury had a special place in his heart and he was no stranger to its audience in the past.

This year's festival also paid tributes to the multi-talented Prince and metal pioneer Lemmy, who also died in the past six months.

Sunday's show also included a moving performance by Birmingham rock band Electric Light Orchstra   and their staple hit "All Over the World."

Making her Glastonbury debut on the festival's famous Pyramid Stage, the singer seemed, at times, to be overwhelmed at the occasion.

From the stage the crowd seems to stretch on forever, as she opened with a note-perfect rendition of Hello.

The star then changed up one of her lyrics to sing "I've been Glastonbury dreaming", which prompted a huge roar of appreciation.

As well as being treated to a spectacular show, lucky fans towards the front of the stage managed to get up close and personal with the star.

Her 90-minute, 15-song set was witnessed by Robbie Williams and James Corden, amongst other celebs, and they were not disappointed

Meanwhile, music stars including Future, DJ Khaled and Zoey Dollaz performed to an excited audience at the second annual Epic Fest in Los Angeles, Saturday.

The event, which celebrates the work and music of Epic Records, was hosted by the label's CEO, L.A. Reid.

A number of stars attended the event held at the Sony Pictures Lot, including Kelly Rowland and former "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson.
