You might have learned quite a lot about the Communist Party of China from the news. But these reports only give us glimpses of information. Today, I'm joined by my colleague Yang Di from the CCTVNews Digital Department. He presents an overview of the CPC and its history from a different perspective.

In a digital era how about we do it digitally? Starting from today and in the following two days I'll bring you some materials that'll tell something you may haven't known about the CPC.

What would you say if asked who makes up the Communist Party of China? If your answer is associated most with a group of officials dressed in suits sitting in a big meeting hall, well, it's not inaccurate given that the CPC is China's ruling party. But, it's not the whole picture. Actually, look at those pictures flying behind my back, you'll see the demography of the CPC is far more complicated than just a suited official can represent.
