The Philippines’s president-elect Rodrigo Duterte is scheduled to be sworn in at midday Thursday. The inauguration ceremony will be held at the Malacanang Palace, the presidential office in Manila.

Outgoing Benigno Aquino will hold a welcome and power transfer ceremony for the 71-year-old.

After taking his oath, Duterte will address the incoming cabinet and foreign diplomats attending the ceremony.
