To open serve with tennis, and possibly a changing of the guard at the All-England club as Roger Federer was facing sixth seed Milos Roanic. The Swiss had won at the All-England club seven times, but his last victory was four years ago. And due to injuries had not a tournament all year.

His opponent, was looking to improve on his best ever performance at the tournament which came last year -- a semi-final berth. A win over the 17-time Grand slam winner would also put the Canadian into a grand slam final for the first time in his career.

Raonic was able tot get a victory over the veteran last time they played earlier this year at the Brisbane Open.

Raonic at the bottom is serving for the first set up 5-3, but the 17-time Grand slam winner is able to prolong the frame with a nice passing shot.

But, the Canadian, was able to take the opener a few points later as he unloads a forehand winner down the line. 6-3 the score.

Second set and Roanic serving to stay in the frame, and he exchanges some heavy groundstrokes with Federer, and the Swiss is able to unload a backhand for a winner. Feds takes the set in a tiebreak.

Off to the third, and Roanic would try and serve and volley, only the third seed is too good on this point, getting another passing shot -- as he grabs the frame 6-4, and leads 2-sets-to-1.

The Canadian has a chance to break and take the fourth, and unloads a backhand passing shot -- and with that seals the set, and we need a decider.

And the final set would be a close one -- the two wage in a 13-shot rally here, as they cover the entire court -- but the point eventually goes to the Canadian as Federer slips on the turf trying to reach this return. He stayed on the ground for a couple of moments. It was the second five-set match for the Swiss in three days, so maybe he just needed to catch his breath. Feds would get up and he would be ok.

Raonic would be able to get a break later in the set, and is serving for the match now and he comes to the net once again, but Federer's passing shot is long, and that hands the victory to the sixth seed, the biggest victory of his career become the first Canadian man to play in a Grand Slam final.

"I don't know yet - I don't even want to know. I just felt not the same afterwards. Regardless, he played a great break point to get the break. From then on, if I would have been fresh as a daisy or injured, maybe wouldn't matter because he was serving 140 anyway. I had missed my chances by then already enough. Maybe I could have stuck around better if I would have saved break points. Very disappointing half an hour there for me, getting broken at 6-5, getting broken again at 2-1, having the slip. Who knows what happens there? But it was a very disappointing end to the match for me," said Roger Federer.

"Yeah, it's definitely a great feeling, from many different aspects. Obviously what happened here two years ago, I was very disappointed with. Today I sort of persevered, I was sort of plugging away. I was struggling through many parts of the match. He gave me a little opening towards the end of the fourth. I made the most of it and then I sort of tried to run away with it. I did a lot of things well. The attitude kept me in the match. I think that's what made the biggest difference, I was quite vocal, but I was always positive. I was always looking for a solution," said Milos Roanic.

Victory puts Scot into third Final at All-England club

And the other semi-final would see home favorite Andy Murray face 10th-seeded and former runner-up Tomas Berdych. Plenty of celebrities on hand, as the players firght for the throne to become champion.

The Scot would take the opening set 6-3, and Berdych seemed to be tight, as he loses focus swinging wildly at this overhead, as fires it wide it would not be the Czech's day.

The world number two was not dealing with any nerves, and looked to be in top form -- as he is able to use his quickness to get to this volley and steers it past his opponent for a winner as he takes this frame by a 6-3 count.

To match point now, and Murray would use his first serve to set up a couple of heavy forehands, and when Berdych's return does not make it over the net, the two-time grand
slam winner secures a 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 win. And is into his third final at the All-England club.
