Luneng have been struggling recently, going 10-games without tasting victory, that has left them battling to avoid relegation. But, help is on the way, as the club announced that they have purchased Papiss Cissse from Newcastle, as they hope the new transfer will inspire them when he arrives.

Not sure if the Senagelese striker would have helped the Orange Fighters early on, giving possession away in the eighth minute -- Alex Teixeira's shot is deflected by a defender and headed home by Jo. That makes it 1-nil for the visitors.

It would stay that way until the second half, as the hosts get a penalty on the edge of the area -- as
Trent Sainsbury takes down Diego Tardelli. The Jiangsu player also gets a yellow for his actions.

Walter Damian Montillo then makes no mistake to send the ball into the left corner. (replay) The goalie does not react and it's 1-all.

And Montillo was able to add a second just seven minutes later, again from the edge of the box, as it deflects off the defender and past the keeper -- 2-1 game.

No more scoring, so Shandong see their ten-game losing streak come to an end.

Also on Saturday, Yanbian Fude beat Shanghai Shenhua 2-1, and there was no goals between Beijing Guoan and Tianjin Teda.

Over in the standings, Guangzhou Evergrande still leads the table 7 clear of Jiangsu Suning. Hebei Fortune sit third, while SIPG are fourth.
