The world's golfers are busy preparing for this weekend's British Open, the year's third major. I can tell you, what they are not preparing for -- the Olympics, as Jordan Spieth is the latest big name to decide against playing in Rio. That means none of the top four men's golfers will be teeing it up in Brazil.

The two-time major winner sounded enthusiastic about the Olympics as little as a month ago, but has decided against going to South America. And he also cited concerns over the Zika Virus as the reason for his decision. Spieth, would have played for the U-S-A, but the Americans still have four players going to Rio, the most of any country. The 22-year-old will be replaced by Matt Kuchar. The other Americans are Rickie Fowler, Patrick Reed, and Bubba Watson, who at number five, is the highest-ranked player on the Olympic list.
