Turkish Deputy PM: adverse economic impact short-lived

The Turkish economy won't permanently suffer from the country's failed military coup but it did experience a short-term, downward impact on growth. That was the word Monday from Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Simsek.

Simsek said Turkey's macroeconomic fundamentals are strong and the government would swiftly shift its focus back to carrying out structural reforms.
