The Ministry of Commerce said on Tuesday that the floods in southern China have had limited impact on prices of goods in the country.
The ministry says logistics and food supply in the most hit areas have been interrupted, which caused a surge in prices of daily supplies and foods.
But the overall situation has stablized thanks to facilitation work, which secured the supply of goods for the flood hit regions. The most flooded provinces are Anhui, Hubei, Hebei, Jiangxi and Jiangsu.
