A Hong Kong court has found three men guilty of charges related to the 2014 'Occupy Central' protest.

Joshua Wong Chi-fung and Alex Chow Yong-Kang were found guilty of unlawful assembly, while Nathan Law Kwun-chung was found guilty of inciting others to join. The men were released on bail and said they had not yet decided whether they would appeal. Sentencing will be on August 15th.

The "Occupy Central" protest in Hong Kong began on September 28th, 2014 and lasted for about 80 days. The protesters blockaded several important roads and streets. Their actions resulted in serious traffic disruption, a drop in tourism, a temporary closure of schools and banks, and a drag on the local stock market. There were also a series of clashes between the protesters and police.
