A military court today sentenced Guo Boxiong to life in prison for accepting bribes. Guo served as vice chairman of the Central Military Commission.
He has since been deprived of his political rights for life and stripped of the rank of general. His personal assets were seized, and all illicit money and assets were confiscated and turned over to the state treasury.
