Q1. China and ASEAN members issued a statement today to better implement the Declaration on the Code of Conduct on the South China Sea.  How is this statement going to help ensure and promote peace and regional stability in the South China Sea?

Q2. China also proposed creating a code of conduct for the South China Sea to prevent conflicts when vessels encounter eachother unexpectedly. Would a code like that be practical?
