07-27-2016 19:28 BJT

Indonesia President Joko Widodo has announced his new cabinet on Wednesday, with aims to better manage the country's economy.

Among the newly appointed members of the government, World Bank managing director Sri Mulyani Indrawati was named the country's new finance minister, the same position she held from 2005 to 2010.

Former Indonesia army general Wiranto, who has been linked to human rights abuse charges during the country's occupation of East Timor, will replace Luhut Pandjaitan as the Chief Security Minister. The trade, energy, transport and industry ministers are also among those replaced. Wednesday's appointment marks the second cabinet re-shuffle under Joko in less than two years after taking office.
