“Joy Dancing Beijing” 2016, an international youth art exchange week recently opened in the capital. Currently in its fifth edition, the cultural extravaganza gathers thousands of youth performing groups from around the world to showcase their native culture.

At the opening ceremony, young delegates from 14 countries, including Russia, Australia, Sri Lanka, performed in a dazzling show. With the theme “We are the future of the world,” the event features a variety of activities including an art fair, concerts, a local art tour and a youth gala.

Chinese musicians and pop stars joined the festivity. The festival was initiated in 2012 and has now grown into an important international youth cultural exchange event.
