Police in Thailand have confirmed that the series of bombs that killed at least two people -- and rattled the tourist industry in the south of the country -- were acts of local sabotage and were not acts of terror.
At least 11 bombs were detonated across five southern provinces over the past 24 hours. One person was killed in southern Surat Thani Province on Friday morning, just hours after another died in a blast in the popular seaside resort town of Hua Hin.
