Studio interview: Myanmar's state counsellor on five-day visit to China

For more about this official visit and ties between China and Myanmar, we're joined now in the studio by Teng Jianqun from the China Institute of International Studies.

Q1. During Premier Li and Suu Kyi's meeting on Thursday, it was agreed to solve the Myitsone Dam issue. Work on the hydropower project, jointly funded by China and Myanmar, was suspended by the previous Myanmar government five years ago. What will it mean for both countries should work on the project resume?

Q2. Earlier this month, Myanmar's new government released its first economic agenda, laying out ambitious goals such as improving infrastructure, creating jobs and attracting foreign investment. China is Myanmar's biggest trading partner and source of foreign investment. How do you see economic cooperation between the two countries developing in future?
