China defeated Serbia 3-1 to win the women’s volleyball gold at the Rio Olympics.

Serbia won the first set 25-19. But China came back to reel off three sets in a row, 25-17, 25-22 and 25- 23.

Nine of the 12 players had never competed in Olympics before. It was China’s first gold medal in women’s volleyball since Athens in 2004.
