Just like the mosquito net, which is believed to have originated in China nearly three thousand years ago. Chinese athletes used it as a layer of extra protection against mosquitoes that spread the Zika virus.
And then there are those Peking Opera-designed helmets, worn by China's female cyclists during the team sprint event. The team won the gold later. And last but perhaps the most significant, cupping, a traditional Chinese medical therapy to relax muscles. CCTV's reporter Yang Zhao tries it out.
