This year's G20 Summit comes amid slowing global growth and rising inequality. Addressing poverty will be the top priority at the summit.

The UN has estimated there were over 800 million people living in extreme poverty in 2015.

The UN has adopted a plan to end extreme poverty and fight inequality in 15 years, known as the Agenda for Sustainable Development.

A record number of developing countries will be represented in Hangzhou.  Many hope the G20's wealthy members will work so the group follows the UN's lead.
