Delegation of Chinese mainland Olympians wraps up visit to Macao

To Macao, as the Chinese Olympic delegation wrapped up their four day visit of the island. A farewell ceremony was held for the 64-member team, among the notables. This trek follows their journey to Hong Kong the previous week.

The team members were given a nice send off, and were greeted by local dignitaries as they boarded a bus, that would take them to the ferry.

During their four day adventure on the island, the athletes showed off their artistic talents in a gala attended by 4,500 people at the Macao East Asian Games Dome.

They also showed off their sporting prowess by competing with local youngsters at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion.

Apart from their sports activities, they made trips to community organizations, service agencies for elderly and mentally handicapped, and nurseries.

In Rio, the Chinese delegation won 26 gold, 18 silver and 26 bronze medals.
