The Group of 20 (G20) summit will open in Hangzhou in eastern China's Zhejiang Province on September 4-5. The city has been dubbed a ‘paradise on earth.’

The conference is considered Beijing's most important diplomatic event this year, as well the highest-level and largest international summit China has hosted in recent years. Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend and chair the summit.

In the following days, leaders from twenty economies with their total GDP accounting for 90% of the world economy will gather at China's West Lake to enjoy the beauty of the city, which is recognized as the hometown of silk. Hangzhou will connect stronger links with global development. Hence, the G20 would usher in China's moment for international glory.

At the crossroads of global economic development, the international situation faces a major adjustment. The Hangzhou G20 summit would link history, while responding to contemporary conditions and anticipating future opportunities and challenges.

The theme, "Towards an Innovative, Invigorated, Interconnected and Inclusive World Economy" highlights China's initiative and wisdom to inject its power, and guide the global economy with positive results.
