More world leaders have shared their expectations of the summit in Hangzhou and what it might do for their economies.

“We have just held a series of activities to mark the 55th anniversary of Sino-Laos diplomatic ties, which marks the closer cooperation between the two countries,” said Bounnhang Vorachit, Laotian president.

“The top-level exchanges have become more and more frequent. And also, there are more Chinese companies coming to Laos and making investments, bringing benefits to people of the two countries.”

“That’s why we came here now to China under the leadership of President Xi—it has a strong relationship that China will be involved more and more,” said Prince Turki Bin Abdullah Al Saud, CEO of King Abdullah Global Foundation.

“And there is a lot of hope that the whole world is creating about China’s economics, since China has already had a surplus 6 plus percent GDP in excess of that, and the rest of the world is less than two percent. For the rest of the world, there is something we have to learn from it.”
