Full coverage: G20 Hangzhou Summit

Tomorrow is the first day of the G20 summit. In the morning, Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend an informal meeting with leaders of the BRICS nations. Delegates of the B20 will also gather for a plenary meeting. The B20 summit will wrap up with a closing starting at around 1:15 p.m.

In the afternoon, president Xi will preside over the welcoming ceremony for delegates of the G20 members. He will chair the opening of the G20 summit and deliver a keynote speech.

A banquet will be in the evening followed by a very traditional Chinese-style gala, “Impression West Lake,” created by famous movie director Zhang Yimou.
