NASA has released close-up images of Jupiter for the first time. The images were taken by the Juno spacecraft once it entered Jupiter's orbit after a five-year journey to get there. The craft was launched to collect more information from the solar system's biggest planet.

Juno is expected to orbit Jupiter for another 18 months. On its final orbit, it will dive into the planet's atmosphere to be crushed and vaporized.
