Speaking of sweet moments, Hangzhou is really a city where you can relax, kick back and enjoy some tranquil moments. Amid the hustle and bustle of a modern city, some parts of Hangzhou also allow you to slow down and purify your soul for a moment. Now let's find out how Hangzhou can be a very relaxing oasis.

Buddhism has been a profound part of Hangzhou's culture and history. Some of China's most important and oldest temples are located in the suburbs, drawing both followers and ordinary visitors alike.

Turn off your cellphone, let go of all your worries... and take a stroll.  You can easily rediscover the positive part of youself that dwells within.

For those who don't need to power off, there's plenty to do downtown, around West Lake.

Ride a bike, fly a kite, or go boating...you are so close to nature that you could almost forget that you are in the center of a city.

And if you need to get away from it all, you don't have to go far.  More and more people are flocking to villages just an hour's drive from Hangzhou.  The pristine landscape and local special dishes await.

And when you leave Hangzhou, it's with a balanced and peaceful spirit.
