The 13th China-ASEAN Expo has opened in Nanning, capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. This year's expo highlights industrial cooperation, trade and investment among China, ASEAN members and other countries along the Belt and Road region.

The four-day event has attracted more than 2,500 companies from 29 countries. This year's expo features 5,800 exhibition booths, an increase of 1,200 from last year's event. More than 30 forums are serving as a platform to encourage China-ASEAN cooperation, with focus in the fields of education, environmental protection, culture, transport and tourism.
