China's biggest university campus museum opened it's doors to the public over the weekend. The Tsinghua University Art Museum is giving its visitors a chance at cracking the Da Vinci code with a total of 60 original manuscripts from Leonardo Da Vinci that are currently on display.

Sixty original pages are being displayed, featuring Da Vinci's drawings and notes of his work in various scientific disciplines.

"We've always been thinking about introducing important western classical artists like Da Vinci to China. He's a comprehensive artist who is fruitful in the arts, as well as scientific inventions," said Feng Yuan, director of Tsinghua University Art Museum.

The Tsinghua exhibition will also show 3-D displays of Da Vinci's aircraft and other mechanical inventions.

The exhibition is one of eleven that is taking place to mark the official opening of the museum. 

"We'll plan different forms of art exhibitions in this museum for students and teachers in Tsinghua University, and the public so that we can enhance cultural exchanges between China and the world," Feng said.

As for the Tsinghua Art Museum's upcoming exhibitions, visitors can look forward to bronze wares from the Shang and Zhou dynasties. the Tsinghua University Art Museum occupies 5,000 square meters, making it the biggest college museum in China.
