2016 Rio Paralympics: China wins 4x400M T53-T54 relay

China, lead the medal haul and were looking for another day of good results, and reach 100 golds  at the Rio Paralympics. If they could get to the century mark, they would be just the third country to reach that level.

The men's 4 x 400 meters T53 and T54 level needed to be run twice. Their were issues with the track, as some of the athletes toppled over. China did win this race setting a world record 3 minute, 3.12 seconds, but it will not count. And the PRC would win the re-run, but could not match that previous time.

And in women's 200 meters T35 final, China's Zhou Xia breaks the world record finishing in 28.22 seconds.

In women's 1500 meters T11, China's Zheng Jin also set a new world standard, running in 4 minute, 38. 92 seconds.

China earn 3 golds in wheelchair fencing

In wheelchair fencing, China took three gold, one silver and one bronze.  In women's A level individual epee, China's Zou Xufeng defeated teammate Bian Jing 15 to 11 to claim gold.

In the women's B level individual epee, Zhou Jingjing defeated Thailand's Jana Saysunee 15 to 10 to claim the gold.

And, in men's individual A level epee final, China's Sun Gang took the crucial chance to defeat Great Britain's Gilliver Piers to claim gold 15 to 13.

Zhang Li claims 100m freestyle S5

In the pool, in women's 100 meters S5 free-style final, China's Zhang Li took the gold touching the wall in 1 minute, 18. 85 seconds.

In men's 200 meters SM8  individual medley, China's Song Maodang and Xu Haijiao claimed silver medal and the bronze medal, the gold going to Great Britain's Hynd Oliver. 

China wins gold in 4-5 table tennis

Saturday was the last day of the competition for table tennis. In women's 4-5 level group match, China took on Serbia. Zhang Bian and Gu Gaizeng cooperated well to sweep their opponents to take the gold.

In another 6-10 level women's group match, China faced Poland. Yang Qian and Lei Lina lost to the European opponents in three games and settle for silver.

And in men's 9-10 level group match, China defeated Spain 2-1 to claim the gold.
