China's international information and communications technology conference has kicked off in Beijing. This year's PT/Expo China will focus on the Internet and connectivity. 

Exciting technologies such as the Internet of things, smart terminals and Internet of vehicles are available for visitors at China International Exhibition Center. More than 400 firms from China and abroad have brought their latest products to seek business opportunities.

The exhibition organizers have dedicated a special area to show off the country's major achievements in this area. And China's minister of Industry and Information Technology Miao Wei says he hopes to promote the sector's development.
