U.S. wireless carrier Verizon Communications  has again begun taking orders for Samsung Electronics' new Galaxy Note 7 smartphones. That's after it stopped sales of the smart phones earlier due to fire-prone batteries.

America's largest wireless carrier warned that initial quantities of the phones could be limited.

Rival carrier Sprint Corp's website also showed the Note 7 available for order and provided a list of stores where customers can pick up a new phone.
