Hundreds of protesters have gathered outside a football stadium in the southeastern city of Charlotte. They are taking a stand against the fatal police shooting of a black man last week.

This comes one day after police released videos of the confrontation. Protesters have filled the city's streets for nearly a week in response to the killing of 43-year-old Keith Scott.

The videos do not show clearly whether Scott had a gun at the time. Police shootings of black residents have escalated tensions between African-Americans and law enforcement across the country.
