The 60th annual General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency has started in the Austrian capita, Vienna. IAEA members will deliberate the agency's work, set priorities and review budgetary matters.

At the opening session, Director General Yukiya Amano, reported on the organization's achievements from the past 60 years. He also highlighted the agency's role in monitoring the nuclear programs of Iraq, Iran and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
