US police have shot dead a lone gunman in Houston, Texas, after he opened fire on unsuspecting victims in a suburban neighborhood -- wounding nine people.
According to reports, the gunman randomly targeted people driving through a suburban neighborhood around six-thirty in the morning. Six drivers were hit by bullets.
One victim is in critical condition. Three more people sustained eye injuries from flying glass and debris. Numerous weapons were found at the scene.
Authorities say there is no indication that a foreign terrorist organization was involved in the attack.
