Artron wins a total of 47 Benny Awards

The world's largest and oldest print competition has taken place: The Premier Print Awards is the most prestigious competition honoring excellence in the print industry. Of the nearly three thousand entries received, Chinese fine printing company Artron Art Group was chosen as exemplifying the highest standards in the printing industry, taking home 47 awards in total.

It's hailed as the OSCARS of the fine printing industry. And 2016 marks the 67th year of The Premier Print Awards. Chinese printing group Artron came out the big winner with a total of 47 awards including 7 "Best of Category awards, and the highest honor, the Benny Award.

As it's name suggests, the “Benny Award” is named after Benjamin Franklin, who brought revolutionary development to printing technology in the United States.

For the past seven years, Artron has consecutively won a total of 45 Benny Awards, and ranks on top among their global competition.

Artron owes its achievements to years of bearing the “Craftsmanship” spirit and being committed to fine art printing. The group says they consider themselves artists who engage in creation by injecting aesthetics and creativity into their work: Prints that are both artistic and elegant.

"In regards to size, "Equation of Time Peter Lik" is physically one of the largest books in the world. It's over 1 meter long when opened and weighs about 25 kilograms. The book fully showcases the craftsmanship spirit that our company upholds. Artron will unswervingly adhere to this spirit of craftsmanship and be devoted to provide more high-quality printing works to the world," said Wang Xiaobin, GM of Artron.

Many of the winning pieces were on prominent display at the Premier Print Awards Gala held in conjunction with an expo in Orlando.

Organizers say they were astounded by the quality of entries this year, and added that the creativity, design and innovation of the submissions this year made the competition extremely difficult to judge.

The Premier Print Awards is sponsored by the Printing Industry of America, and is regarded as the industry’s most prestigious awards program honoring excellence in print. It was established in 1950 and has already been held 67 times.  With years of continuous effort, the competition has now attracted thousands of global enterprises.
