Local governments in coastal areas of east China's Fujian province have already taken precautions measures for Typhoon Megi.
More than 120,000 fishermen have been evacuated. And over 30,000 fishing boats have been recalled to port to take shelter from the huge winds.
Civilian police are helping fishermen to fix buoys, and check the power safety on boats.
