26 still missing, 15 others rescued in Lishui landslide

To the landslide in the eastern province of Zhejiang, where 15 people have been rescued, and 26 others are still unaccounted for.

A hillside collapsed on Wednesday in a village near Lishui city, burying dozens of houses.

Falling rocks and mud have clogged a local river. The diverted water has forced villagers living nearby to abandon their homes.

Rescue workers freed a pregnant woman and two elderly people trapped by flooding, and took them to safety.

The landslide was triggered by a heavy downpour brought by Typhoon Megi.
