China has mapped out a 20-year development plan for the country's space probe program.

Two lunar pole explorations have been added into its Moon probe project.

As exploration of Mars, a first stage will be launched in 2020. And in the second stage, China will explore and collect samples from Mars in and around 2030.

Officials said China is also encouraging international cooperation in its space projects.
