We turn to tennis for the final of the Shanghai Masters, which pitted Scotland's Andy Murray against Roberto Bautista Agut of Spain. The odds were clearly stacked in Murray's favor as the second seeded, three-time grand slam champion has not even dropped a set in his last ten matches, which included winning the China Open last week for his 40th career title. As for Bautista Agut, well this was his first-ever Masters Series final.

But you'd never know the huge difference in thier achievements just by watching the first set, as Bautista Agut at the top of your screen, is more than able to keep up with Murray.

The Scot is going to come to the net behind a backhand to deliver a tight volley. The Spaniard gets to it, but Murray reaches back for a lob, and then has an awkward overhead before taking the brilliant rally with a final forehand volley. But Bautista Agut later breaks back to force a tiebreaker.

But it would be owned by Murray, who crushes this return to claim the breaker 7-1.

Andy would carry that momentum into the second set to blow away Bautista Agut and take a 5-1 lead. Murray now has match point, and a big forehand has the Spaniard in trouble, and the smash seals the deal.

The Scot's 11th consecutive straight sets victory seals his third Shanghai Masters crown, as well as his sixth title of the season, and 41st of his career. Murray now trails Novak Djokovic by just 915 points, in the race to finish the year at the top of the world rankings.
