According to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System on Tuesday, the Chinese yuan is at 6.7350 a dollar, with its mid-point rate at 6.7303. That is 76 points higher than the previous mid-point.
Some analysts say that although the yuan has continued to fall recently, the fluctuations are not strong, so the possibility of sharp depreciation is low.
The main factors are the stopping of the U.S. dollar’s appreciation and a better situation for Chinese forex markets.
