Full coverage: China Tiangong-2 Space Lab Launch
The complex formed by the Shenzhou-11 spacecraft and the Tiangong-2 space lab has adjusted its flight mode. The Beijing Aerospace Command and Control Centre said the complex fired its engines on Thursday night, and lowered its orbit altitude. The spacecraft and lab have been linked since the docking maneuver on Wednesday.
The change in orbit altitude was conducted according to the mission schedule. Space Control reports that the two astronauts on board, Jing Haipeng and Chen Dong, are in good health and have already begun conducting a series of experiments during their 30-day mission.
