Data from the first three quarters suggests a rebound in the industrial sector. According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology -- which held a press briefing on Thursday, 18 among 41 industry sectors in China had seen faster growth in the first nine months of this year.

In the first three quarters, industrial output grew 6 percent year on year. The brightest figure is industrial profits, which rose 8.4 percent year on year from January to August, reversing a downward trend since last year.
