The 2016 World Robot Conference is now underway in Beijing, and has drawn in key industry players and associations from countries such as the US, Germany, Japan, South Korea and Israel. One of the highlights of this year's conference is that various smart robots have made their debut.

Interacting with humans.

This is definitely the most attractive sight to most visitors.

"Little I" can answer questions in various fields with professional knowledge. She can also "walk" around to help people. And you can see her in different fields like finance, telecommunications and tax systems.

Another event that attracts the eye at the show is the aquatic robot challenge, where underwater robots made their debut.

In a 2vs2 game, the robot fishes tried to "shoot" the ball at a goal in the 10 minute competition, mimicing a real football match.

"We hope that our underwater robot competition is not only a platform of competition, but a platform of teaching, and a platform of study which can contribute to our research and production," said Fan Ruifeng, deputy general-secretary of International Underwater Robots Alliance.

A series of robot contests are also coming up, including an extreme flying challenge for drones, and a RoboCup Challenge, where two robot teams will face-off in a football game.
