To England for a big match in the Premier League that saw Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was back at Stamford Bridge to face his old club Chelsea. With seven major titles across two spells, Mourinho is the Blues most successful manager ever, but his return ended in one the most humiliating results of his career as Antonio Conte's Chelsea ran riot over the hapless Red Devils.

Mourinho was greeted warmly by Chelsea fans prior to the game. But the hospitality would quickly vanish within 30 seconds of kick-off.

Perhaps United's defence didn't hear the opening whistle or perhaps they just didn't feel like playing. Either way Chris Smalling inexplicably allows Marcos Alonso's pass to bounce past him and Pedro nips in to round David de Gea and score into the empty net for the fastest goal of the season that he spends more time celebrating than it took to score.

More slack defending allows Chelsea to double their lead in the 21st minute. Gary Cahill slams home after Eden Hazard's corner hits Ander Herrera and bounces down. A pocket of Chelsea fans could be heard taunting Mourinho with chants of "You're not special anymore!" 2-0 Blues.

At half-time, Mourinho would send on Juan Mata for Marouane Fellaini, but in the 62nd minute the game is over. Nemanja Matic finds Hazard, who checks inside Smalling and steered a shot into the bottom corner for their third of the night.

The rout would be completed in a fittingly embarrasing fashion by N'Golo Kante who darts between Smalling and the sleep-walking Paul Pogba to tuck away his first Chelsea goal since his move from Leicester.

"4-0 is the final and when later asked what he said during a terse exchenge with Conte, Mourinho replied by saying, "My words with Antonio Conte were for him, not for you." Jose Mourinho said.
