Refugees in the town of Calais continue to line up and wait to be transported to reception centers across the country. French authorities have begun removing refugees from the camp known as 'The Jungle' in the northern port town. The French government has pledged 9,000 spots will be made available at the reception centers.

Refugees who fit their criteria will stay in France, while those who don't will be deported. The authorities will continue processing the refugees this week before demolishing the camp. Some migrants have tried to get onto trains and trucks heading for the UK. Britain is contributing up to 44 million US dollars to the French operation.
