Authorities say they have finished clearing out the so-called "Jungle" camp in Calais.

Wednesday was the second day of operations to demolish the settlement in the north of the country. Some migrants set the camp on fire before they left.

So far, around half the camp's residents have been transferred to centers around France since the demolition operation began on Monday.
The French government said that 9,000 places would be made available at "reception and orientation centers" for the refugees.
