Some terrifying moments for 170 people aboard a plane at Chicago's O'Hare Airport next. The engine of an American Airlines jet caught fire just seconds after its crew decided to abort their take-off on Friday.

Passengers and crew had to evacuate down emergency slides as the plane filled with smoke. Eight people were hurt. The airline said there was an engine malfunction, but US aviation officials say they're taking over the investigation.
